For starters I would just like to thank
everyone who came out to our open house over the weekend and also a big
congrats to our three winners. We couldn't have had this event happen without
the help of our staff, speakers and most importantly YOU!
Now let’s switch gears and tell you about this
summer. This summer Set and Spike Volleyball will be teaming up with MK Leadout
Cycles. This is a locally owned business based out of Eau Claire that has been
around for over 60 years. The owner Mitch Kent and I will be hosting the event
at the Indoor Sports Center in Eau Claire, WI this summer every Tuesdays and Thursdays evening throughout the month of July. I will be giving lessons of techniques along with the
basics of volleyball that everyone needs to know. Mitch will be there with some
of his newest bikes and gears so he is able to teach kids about bike safety. After
learning the safety, you will be able to go out to the parking lot where he is
going to have an obstacle course set up for the kids to try out. How cool is that?
This event is for any age group to come
out and enjoy the fun. Our mission is to make sure you leave with learning something
new.

Aubrey, I love the way you and Mitch paired together to make the collaboration work, it is a great pair! There are a couple things I would change, proofread your posts before posting, there is one area where you have to reread the area before you can move on. This will just make your blog flow better. Also, add comma's where necessary. Over all I do like your blog, it is informative and to the point.

ReplyDeleteLOVE the look and feel of your blog. A couple of things:
1.) Make the left navigation bar thinner so readers aren't confused by which is the post column.
2.) Move the Connect gadget below your logo.
3.) Your blog has a lot of competing fonts. Choose one unique font for your headings and another for all the text. I recommend Verdana, Century Gothic, or Calibri.
4.) Make your headings orange or read to add a pop of color.
